Gemini's tower had never shown the same future twice. That night, every mirror showed only absence.

The twins, Castor and Lyra, stood before the largest glass while nine kingdom lights burned around its rim. Three were dark. Leo's sun had vanished, Aries' flame had become a field of ash, and the two stars of Gemini had collapsed into one.

Castor touched the glass and saw a future in which the Celestial Crown returned. The Gate closed, but Scorpio's kingdom disappeared from every map and memory. Lyra touched the same glass and saw another future: Scorpio survived, while the Solar Kingdom fell into endless night.

A silver crack divided the mirror between them. From inside it, the forgotten king offered a simple bargain—choose which kingdom history would erase. Each twin heard a different voice, carefully shaped to sound like the other.

They almost left by separate doors. Then Lyra noticed their reflections were arguing before either of them spoke. Castor struck the false reflection with a blade of starlight, and the mirror screamed with thirteen voices.

The twins carried both futures to the council, refusing to choose in secret. Yet one fragment remained hidden in Castor's sleeve. Inside it, a third future showed Gemini wearing the crown alone—and the image was still growing brighter.
